Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Andrology & Endocrine Technologist/Buffalo We have an immediate opening for a full-time medical technologist at CNY Fertility Center, Buffalo.
Responsible for performing laboratory testing and procedures in Andrology and Endocrinology areas of the laboratory and reporting timely accurate test results.
The schedule is daytime hours with flexibility either Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays or Tuesday through Saturday, with required holiday rotations.
Responsibilities include semen analysis and morphology, semen processing for inseminations and IVF procedures, sperm freezing, and reproductive hormone analysis.
Routine maintenance, calibration and validation are performed as required.
Strick adherence to all CNY Fertility procedures/protocols and accrediting agency regulations.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (or BS in a chemical, physical, or biological science) is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with a strong laboratory background who have one or more years of experience in assisted reproductive technologies.
The successful candidate will be well organized, and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Skills include the ability to work both independently and in a team setting, and to demonstrate good judgement in a fast -paced setting.
