Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the ER phone system - Verify patients' insurance coverage and collect necessary information - Assist with billing and payment processing - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Proficient in using ER phone systems or similar software - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information - Ability to work well in a team environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
