Position
Summary:
DMI is currently looking for a qualified candidate to add to our paint, finish, and surface prep department.
Paint, surface prep and masking skillsets are required.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Meets company deadlines to meet or exceed operational coating requirements.
Uses the following equipment proficiently:
Airless paint sprayer Electrostatic paint sprayer Blast booth equipment Overhead and jib cranes Tow motor/pallet jacks Upon direction, flexes to operate various equipment to serve backlog for optimum productivity.
Works in other departments of production upon request.
Adheres to Company safety, workmanship, and attendance policies.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills, and Education:
Minimum 5 years of experience in painting various coatings Proven understanding of all atmospheric and conditional situations for proper coating application Ability to understand coating supplied data sheets and application procedures Ability to understand production demands and facility loading Performs in a professional manner Utilizes basic safe lifting and material movement techniques Ability to communicate effectively issues related to programs, schedule, as well as opportunities for improvement Ability to multi-task safely to meet production goals What We Offer:
