Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and care for plants in a greenhouse or outdoor farm setting - Monitor plant growth and health, making adjustments as needed - Operate and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering of plants - Apply fertilizers and pesticides according to established guidelines - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery used in the growing process - Harvest crops at the appropriate time, ensuring quality and quantity standards are met - Keep accurate records of planting, growing, and harvesting activities - Collect data on plant growth, yield, and environmental conditions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in growing plants, preferably in a farm or greenhouse setting - Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting and use hand tools as required - Basic math skills for measuring and mixing fertilizers and pesticides - Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and treatment methods is a plus - Strong attention to detail to ensure proper care of plants - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Note:
