Lake Ave Veterinary Hospital Lake Ave Veterinary Hospital Lockport, NY Lockport, NY Full-time Full-time $17 - $23 an hour $17 - $23 an hour Lake Ave Vet Clinic is seeking a Full Time Veterinary Technician to work at our one doctor, highly rated/reviewed, exclusively small animal veterinary clinic.
We are a privately owned facility that emphasizes individual patient care at an affordable price.
This model has led to a high level of client satisfaction, which leads to a more positive work environment, and a lot of word of mouth referrals! Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties include:
Calculating dosages and administering medications, anesthetic monitoring during surgery procedures, assist Veterinarian with client visits, collection and recording of patient records, administering vaccines, collect blood samples, perform laboratory and diagnostic testing, must be able to work well under pressure with good communication skills, also must be able to maintain a clean work environment.
After hour emergencies are handled by local ER clinics.
