Global Operations and Services (GOS) supports GM IT systems around the world, in every site and every function. This role is in support of Parts Manufacturing in GM Components Holdings.
About the role:
This position will function as an IT Operations Support Agent for GMCH business applications. This will include interacting with GMCH IT management, application stake holders, and application end-users in activities that span all phases of an application's life-cycle. The individual must also be proficient in the applied technologies the individual will be assigned to support.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Training, education and/or experience in IT Sustain services.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Solid experience supporting applications using Microsoft .NET frameworks (Visual Studio, Visual Basic, & ASP)
Experience supporting MS SQL integrated applications (SQL Server script and triggers knowledge)
A strong knowledge and practical experience working with database connectivity such as ODBC
Ability to support and or learn as needed IT operations across both Software and Hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years support experience administering Microsoft IIS-based applications.
Ensure availability of all assigned applications and participate in change/incident/problem management activities as necessary.
Experience executing communication processes for planned / unplanned outages, maintenance activities, etc.
Ability to be available 24 hours x 7 days for critical situations, flexibility as needed to work off-hour schedules (change, issue management, etc.)
Experience in diagnosing runtime environments for operational issues.
Experience in testing enhancements/fixes to existing applications or infrastructure and assure compliance with change control, release management strategy, and configuration management processes
Experience in the maintenance of test cases, writing test cases for new functionality, and in conducting user acceptance tests
Experience in service continuity, availability, and capacity planning.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
