Paint still presentable, no rust, some small scratches and swirls.
Could use paint correction and polish.
Body is straight no damage to panels or bumpers.
1 nick in rear bumper but chrome on both bumpers is good.
Side view mirror chrome is weak and stainless in general is shiny but has some light scratches.
Passenger rear quarter window chrome has a few dimples.
All trim pieces appear to be in place.
Vinyl top still in good shape.
Both doors close with no effort.
TRUNK-Fully carpeted in black.
Spare tire looks to be original and brand new as does the wheel.
Jack in place.
TIRES-Front passenger tire has slow leak.
Goodyear Regattas were installed in 1999 at mileage 69483 ( car has 75 k now).
Wheel covers in good condition.
INTERIOR -Full leather seats with working power front bench seat with fold down armrest.
Both seats are in good shape with no rips or tears and only minor wear on the outside of the drivers seat.
Power windows are all functional with the exception of the drivers master control passenger rear quarter window switch does not work.
Passenger door window motor is slow but does go full travel in both directions.
Original radio does work but is staticy.
Power antenna does not work.
Wipers work but the drivers side wiper needs adjustment.
Headliner and carpet are good.
Door panels in good shape and the vacuum power door locks are functional.
Dash in good shape albeit maybe a little faded as is the rear package shelf.
ENGINE & MECHANICALS- Transmission shifts good but pan gasket is leaking.
Headlights work fine up and down.
A/C compressor appears to be original and appears to still blow cool air with setting on high.
Not sure about the full workings of the climate controls.
Starter solonoid may need replacement at some point.
Once in a while it fails to engage.
Exhaust replaced in 2006.
Car hasn't been run in over a year so on starting it is running a little rough.
It is not burning oil and there is no exhaust smoke.
The engine has always run strong in the years I've owned it.
The steering is a little loose.
There is some road wander.
Tilt/telescopic wheel and horn works.
Dash lights don't seem to work.
Car has optional front discs brakes.
Drums in rear.
Rear auto leveling is non functional.
ODD ITEMS- The history of the car , as the story goes, was ordered by a small town Georgia fire chief.
The car has a functional siren mounted under the hood with a toggle switch mounted under the dash to the left of the steering column.
The car then apparently sat in a fire station museum in that town for years until it was sold.
The other thing is the car has front fender lights in addition to the front bumper mounted park and turn signal lights.
I actually saw in one of my Cadillac publications that late in '67 and before the '68 model came out that some of the cars had the new '68 fenders.
